Happy 14th Rebirth Day to Me! Bitter sweet day today. My Rebirth, and all I can think of is Julisa Bonner. When I got shot, I wasn't even thinking about celebrating a life...but exactly a year after I got shot, sis called me and told me to come over cause Tink Tanya Bonner was cooking. So I went. And to my surprise, like, she really surprised me, with the balloons birthday cake and all that read "Happy One Year Rebirth day!". Some of my friends and loved ones were there. She called it a Celebration of my Life. I Loved it! It put me in a whole nother mindset when she did that. I'm like, you know what, this Is a celebration. I'm here! I made it! I gotta keep this going. And I did! Every year I think of her on this day; talk to her, text her, or something, so nothing is different this time other than the fact that she is not here. 🙏🏾🙏🏾 Today has been something else already maaann smh. My day has been like, smiling hard, praising god, and balling crying all at the same time. Smh. I go through so much bs, I'm glad, especially today, I recognized all the blessings that been coming, and have been able to focus on the good instead of the negative. I'm just blessed and thankful. Can't feel any other type of way frfr, but at peace, because I know that This Too Shall Pass! 💯❤️💕💪🏾
