Another view of our Ansley Park project. The gravel area will eventually be the formal lawn aligning with the main rooms of the house. Later this week, the balustrade will be installed on the rear upper porch to complete the overall architectural look and feel.

The skylight here does more than bring in light. It creates a vertical moment in what's typically a compressed horizontal space, turning a functional pass-through into an architectural experience.

We spent considerable time getting the beam spacing right in this room. The goal was cathedral height without losing intimacy. The stone fireplace anchors the room without competing with the structure. It's a space designed for our clients' lakefront life, both grand enough for gathering and peaceful enough to actually live in every day.

Custom millwork defines this vanity design - the walnut cabinetry positioned the Panda marble to showcase its most dramatic veining as a natural artwork against the understated wood framework.
