THE MAIN CHARACTER ✨
Here’s my week 2 submission for the cosplay challenge!

This week the challenge was to cosplay a titular character, and even though it wasn’t released in the US Tingle DOES have a game of his own 😤

If yall haven’t heard, I was in a bad car accident last week so I wasn’t able to make or buy anything new for this week’s challenge. But I’m STILL IN THE GAME and I can’t wait to see what the next theme will be!!

That’s a wrap, Cosplay America 2024!!
I almost always skip on making convention wrap posts because A) I don’t take enough pictures B) I get overwhelmed with the number of post-con notifs C) I am TIRED and by the time I recover I’m already moving towards my next event.

HOWEVER, is (outside of Dragon) my favorite show, hard stop. It is 100% maker-focused, with so many workshops that I spend my whole weekend learning. and her badass team do an amazing job booking guests; every single person running workshops is an incredible cosplay fabricator (with a sprinkling of amazing photographers!).

What’s even better is that it’s such a small, intimate convention; by the end of the weekend I always end up befriending someone whose skills I’ve been admiring from afar 💖

This year was particularly special for a LOT of reasons:
-Several of my cosplay competition friends came to CosAm for the first time
-I did a stage walk in Tinkaton in body paint! And I sealed it so well that NONE of it rubbed off (we dont talk about how much I struggled to wash it off lol). Before this I’ve only ever painted for LARPs and ONE (1) makeup test for Sylphrena. I even got to transition some of that pink paint to red for Mipha 🔱
-…speaking of which, I debuted a Gala Mipha in a formal dress that made me feel absolutely GORGEOUS, and took my first shot at multicolor 3D printing!
-we kicked off Friday with a meetup, so I got to start my convention with putting faces to the names of people I’ve been learning from all year. It made for SUCH a fun experience because we had an automatic crew of friends all weekend 💖
-I got to cosplay Officer Jenny for the True [Cosplay] Crimes panel and people ASKED ME to put them in handcuffs 😹
-SO MANY OF MY FRIENDS WON AWARDS!! Off the top of my head that’s , .so.cosplay , .lyn , , and my brand-new friend took home BiS!! (Also I’ve been a huge fan of her work for a while now and I’m SO excited to be friends with her!)

All in all, it was a dream come true. If you like making cool stuff, come check it out next year 💖

Momocon 2024 panels!!

If you told me a couple years ago that I would be teaching a sponsored workshop and giving away convention passes to one of my favorite events, I would have laughed at you.

But here we are, two days before the workshop with only one ticket left 🤯

I’m so so grateful for my maker community and all of the incredible support I’ve had on this journey. It feels AMAZING to be able to share my skills and my knowledge, and contribute to the cosplay community. Thank you so much to everyone who helped make it happen!
