The theme for the Georgia Tech Center for Urban Resilience & Analytics (CURA) 2026 Urban Resilience Leadership Symposium was water, a timely topic π
While the warm morning sunlight, mild temperatures, and low humidity made for a perfect spring day in Atlanta for the symposium on Tuesday, April 21, wildfires were burning in South Georgia due to an extensive drought affecting the state.
βWe have to design with uncertainty based on what is not known about sea level rise, climate, and different futures,β said Matthijs Bouw, presenter at the CURA symposium.
