This blood moon was one of the most amazing things to me. Under a canopy of stars. Listening to nothing but the wind whistle through the trees and coyotes play in the distance. The most beautiful planet.

What really goes on behind the black curtain that is horse rescue? Is it all just the glitter and glam “before and after” videos you see on Facebook? The videos that make your heart feel good? Horses right now need our help. All over the country. From California fires to the kill lots, these horses in the United States are crying out for help. There are too many people who have no idea that over 100,000 horses from the United States are shipped to other countries to be slaughtered YEARLY. If you love horses please, donate your time to a horse rescue near you. You can spend your time on week days or weekends loving on these beautiful animals when they need it the most. It could take as little as an hour of your time on your schedule to go and volunteer. You do not have to ride. You can go love on the horses, pamper them, talk to them, feed them, brush them, etc. you can even donate money if you would like.
