How I fell in love with wool

In 2007 I began experimenting with synthetic felt I bought at a crafty store, but I quickly found that it did not stand up to the everyday wear and tear of the everyday use for myself or the young children I nannied. Two months later, while visiting my sister, she took me to a local yarn and waldorf craft store and the shelves of color of the pure 100% merino wool felt...well, I never turned back.

Hi there! A question for sellers.

A friend of mine is considering deleting her etsy and selling her wares in another outlet. She's just not in to using etsy.

Do any of you have shops or make sales online other places than on etsy? What are some ways you recommend she try our avoid? What's your monthly costs or is it per listing? How do you recieve payment? Have you had any issues with buyers?

set my etsy to vacation, but never fear! I shall return in august with a fully loaded colorful fun packed shop. In the meantime, in the portland area you can come find my wallets, play food, booties, barrettes and brooches at collect craft in the st johns neighborhood (just off lombard, next to crow and across from the children's relief nursery ♥

I will be there will all my goodies plus some you've never seen! Open to the public, bring the kids because there are lots of toys for them to play with while you shop! The swap n play is a multi room play/exchange member maintained safe environment out of the cold/rain/excessive heat and located below a church. come check out all the fun stuff the members have to offer tomorrow!

Hello! my shop is temporarily shut, I am at the Pre-Holiday Bazaar in Tigard(Portland) on Saturday November 12th from 10am to 3pm, located at Meadow Springs Community Church 12647 SW 62nd Avenue in Tigard. I will then be out of town until the day after Thanksgiving. Want to check out my stuff in person? I have some on display(and purchase!) at Collect Craft in the St Johns neighborhood. I will be reopening my shop on November 26th!

portland! I will be set up at the harvest festival on wednesday(september 21st) from 2-7. there will be a craft fair, beer garden, face painting, pie eating contest and all kinds of cool stuff!
