Before you start complaining today about how your kids are getting on your nerves think about the parents who have had to bury a child unexpectedly.

And don't complain about how you had to stop and get gas considering there are so many walking in the cold to their destinations today.

And don't complain about eating leftovers when there are those who have nothing left to get over.

And don't complain about you've gained too much weight when so many are battling eating disorders such as anorexia.

And don't complain about your bills that keep coming in because at least you had an address for them to be sent to.

And don't complain about those pains in your body, someone somewhere has a tag on their toe in the morgue and they didn't even fulfill their purpose.

And don't complain about your marriage or your singleness, there are those right around you praying to have the relationship status you no longer want.

And stop complaining about how the kids got you ripping and running and there are couples who've been infertile for years that would give their life savings to have just one.

And stop complaining about you need new clothes and shoes when someone has been in a hospital gown the majority of the year.

The reality is it could be so much worse. Stop and simply thank God for what He's already done!
