Seniors need investment, especially when they have spent their lives investing into our tax base. On the south side, many times, this means they have paid into Atlanta for longer than the median age of our citizenry. Think about that. Do they deserve to suffer from tax increases when they live in neighborhoods where they haven’t experienced the appropriate returns on their investment? When there water bills are high, and pressure is low? Where they are the ones who have to pay for tires and wheel alignments just so they can drive out into potholes in food dessert to eat? Seniors need more of our attention. In my real life, this is how/where I stand, and my neighbors know it. I ask for you to join me in safeguarding our legacy population who laid the groundwork for all of the benefits now coming to our city. Early Voting is October 14th - 31st.
