✨ As we close this 2025 cycle, we wanted to pause and share from the heart.

Over the past 5.5 years, Sol Dance has grown into a living ecosystem of movement, music, and connection. This year alone, we shared 12 monthly dances, 6 5Rhythms classes, and 3 Sol Dance Presents—serving over 3,000+ dancers from across the region and beyond.

None of this happens without our beloved team — , , .shakti , and — and every dancer, volunteer, artist, vendor, and supporter who continues to say yes to this space. We are deeply grateful.

Holding has been one of the most rewarding and challenging endeavors of our lives. Every decision we make is guided by care, discernment, and a commitment to long-term sustainability.

Like any living thing, Sol Dance moves in seasons. January is an intentional pause as we evolve toward 501(c)3 - nonprofit status and what’s to come. We’ll return in February with renewed clarity.

Members will still be supported in January through exclusive digital offerings, and a 5Rhythms class later in the month (date TBA).

We’re also opening the door to aligned event sponsors and partners—those who believe in embodied community and feel called to help carry this work forward. We’re not rushing this. We’re listening for what wants to emerge, trusting the right relationships will arrive at the right time.

And before all of that…
we dance one final time in 2025, and welcome 2026 in the heart of our community!

I’m so grateful for all the birthday wishes, notes, and expressions of love throughout this past weekend and into my 44th Solar Return on Nov 17th on Monday! ♏️

43 was a potent cycle for me, however something powerfully transformative is actively working it’s way through my 44th year and I’m excited to finally share more when the time comes.

In the meantime, I’ll forever be eternally grateful to each of tou who take the time to witness, follow, and actively support the work I do in the world.

Came home from one of the most potent burns I’ve experienced to date to find our house flooded — a supply line burst upstairs and water found its way through every floor, from the bathroom, to the kitchen, and eventually into the basement (including my music studio 😭).

It’s been a lot to take in.

The contrast of coming out of such a powerful, heart-opening weekend straight into cleanup and loss has been heavy. Feels like a forced reset & a purge of density — humbling, messy, and strangely clarifying all at once.

Bespoke House excelled at Alchemy Burn in every way we expected it would & more … and despite the upheaval, we are just taking it day by day right now.

Grateful for what remains.

❤️‍🔥 I’m honored to be offering my art throughout this year’s Alchemy Burn via curating sound at our beloved artist collective project - .house.portal - DJing the Effigy burn itself, and my first Ritual Theatre Performance Art in a long, loooong while.

I’ll be stepping out from behind the decks to perform in this ritual theatre piece — our camp’s signature prayerformance under the stars with - - - (I also produced the musical programming for this one. ⚡️)

🔥 Saturday | 7P-10P — Effigy Burn
I’ll join .music behind the decks for the OFFICIAL Effigy Burn set for all of Alchemy 👀🙌🏾 — a multi-genre rollercoaster ride designed to set the tone for the entire community as we gather around the penultimate fire together.

I’ll be back at Bespoke House for a full-on, genre-fluid, sexy, weird, & ecstatic psychedelic musical journey through the liminal hours… our camp’s burn night tradition which will take us all from the embers of night into dawn’s first light. If you’re at the burn and know what I’m about - you already know where you’ll want to be around midnight. 😌

Performing at burns (in general) is part of my creative lifeblood. It’s where I feel most alive, where Maya and I thrive together, and where our art finds its fullest expression. Despite everything all the challenges, our Bespoke House crew is bringing something extra special into this grand collective fold of doers, artists, seekers, and legends … crafting spaces and experiences straight from the heart.

👀 Beats on the Beltline is happening THIS SATURDAY — Sept 6 — yup, I’m playing it!

I’ll be closing out the main stage at Historic Fourth Ward Skatepark with a set from 9:10–10PM. Looking forward to sending this gathering off with some deeper grooves & high energy. 🤌🏾

The event runs 2PM–10PM and it’s free with RSVP. Expect DJs, art, food, flow, and a big dose of community right on the Beltline.. ⚡️

Two years ago, he brought Cacao Dance to our city & dance-floor for the first time—and the vibes were immaculate. The space filled with over 300 hearts moving as one, anchored in reverence, rhythm, and the medicine of cacao.

Today, we return to that field of intention.
