In January, the FBI seized election records from Fulton County relating to the 2020 presidential election. Acting on behalf of journalist Justin Glawe, Caplan Cobb LLC attorneys Sarah Brewerton-Palmer and Alan Long, along with co-counsel Cross Kincaid Baskam, filed a motion with the federal court in Atlanta to unseal the court records showing how the government obtained its search warrant.

Last week, the court granted our client’s motion, ordering the government to publicly file unredacted copies of the affidavits used by the government to obtain the warrant. As the court put it: "It is undeniable that the 2020 election and the seizure of the election records are historically significant matters and that granting full access to the Affidavits is likely to promote public understanding of these events."
