This was during a major hurricane coming through Atlanta in (I'm guessing) or around 2003. Everyone was stranded and we had no one to sing. I'm not sure how he was connected but none of the band members had ever even met Wayne before we went on stage with him. (and never saw him again afterwards) It was a very awkward night to say the least but he must be commended for filling in at the literal last second at what I'm sure was an awkward situation for himself too!
