Still on a high from SHRM 2025.
For so long, I’ve been trying to find my way. From the outside looking in, it might seem like everything’s figured out but the truth is, I’ve been on a journey of aligning what the professional in me wants with what the entrepreneur in me needs.

This week, it clicked.

Getting on that stage and speaking to a room of HR professionals and leaders reminded me that this is the work I’m called to do helping teams evolve by breaking down silos, improving processes, and building with purpose.

This moment feels surreal, not just because of the size of the platform, but because of what it represents:
For so long, I didn’t fully go after the speaking opportunities I deserved. I let imposter syndrome, self-doubt, and perfectionism talk me out of my value. But not anymore.

This is a new chapter.
One where I take up space.
One where I own my voice.
One where I walk in the doors I once hesitated to knock on.

To every aspiring speaker, trainer, or thought leader: keep showing up, even when it’s uncomfortable. The rooms you dream of are real, and you belong in them.

This is only the beginning. Let’s go. 💼🎤🔥

Speaking isn’t easy, but it’s one of the most rewarding things I get to do.

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to speak to a group of veterinary students and professionals at the National Association for Black Veterinarians Conference.

Each time I speak, I grow too. I love this work and I’m passionate about leadership, workforce development, and helping people find clarity in their professional journey.
