42 years young today.

Here’s my 42 year old wisdom.

-You can never have too many cats.
-Be Kind, but not too kind. As a queen of RBF boundaries are important, don’t let people abuse your kindness. If your intuition about someone is telling you something is off, believe it.
-Spend time and make memories with the people you care about. Tomorrow isn’t promised, I regret the missed moments with people that are now gone, all I can do is do better moving forward.
-Friendships are for a reason, season, or a lifetime. At this point in time I’ve found my lifers. That isn’t to say I don’t cherish memories with people no longer in my life. I can look back fondly, and love someone from afar, but sometimes the healthy thing for people is to move in different directions, and that’s okay.
-Travel as much as you can.
-Never grow up.
-AI was a fu***ng mistake, stop using that s**t seriously, you’re killing the planet, and getting dumber in one go.
-Never stop learning, the want to keep learning keeps us young.
-None of us are perfect, not even me 😂
-Yes I can be wrong… this one’s more for my soon to husband, because I often drive him crazy with not just wanting to admit I’m wrong. I love you thanks for still putting up with me 12 years later. ❤️
-Did I mention you can never have too many cats?

I spend a lot of time in front of the camera. The camera I struggle with the most is my fiancé’s. We’ve been together for 12 years and I still don’t know how to act natural, so he now tries to trick me to look natural, which sometimes works.

A rainy day in Shinjuku.

The day and I spent in Shinjuku it was pouring down rain, but we explored back alleys and card shops, and Vic put his camera on the line dragging it out for many epic shots.

Luckily I had my rain jacket in tow.

The land of a million Vending Machines.

I’m not a photographer, but this trip I often found myself telling things that I thought were good shots. Which he often would agree. I guess I have an eye for some things, I always loved architecture, so I tried to take more photos with my phone of the random things I found appealing. So here’s one of those photos. I also brought a mini Polaroid camera with me, which was fun and I plan do continue that on my travels.

Happy Birthday . What a lovely friend to have. It’s rare she will tell you no to a very stupid idea. Great travel partner, and always looking out for those she holds dear. If you’re lucky enough to have JJ in your life, consider yourself very blessed, as she’s one in a million.
