Quarterbacks say the darndest things!
Creating space in the pocket is critical when you decide to be an as***le and not throw hot.
Quarterbacks, when you are throwing do not do this! Do this!
The clap cadence is childish! Grow up!
We end every session with some form of QB conditioning. It’s an easy way to keep your fundamentals sharp while getting your work in.
As important as rotation is in throwing, being able to stop might matter even more. Think of a car crash. If you slam to a stop, everything shoots forward. If you roll up to a stop sign and ease into the brake, there’s no real force. Same idea here. Stop harder and you throw with more power and control.
Everything we do in training is built to match what shows up under the lights. We keep finding ways to put quarterbacks in tough spots and teach them how to win in those moments.
You got it wrong if you think your foot has to point right at the target. Every quarterback moves different. The key is finding YOUR best spot for foot strike and the angle it needs to hit so you can throw it clean. Once you understand that your game can go to the next level.
Some coaches throw a bunch of s**t at a wall and hope it sticks. We don’t coach like that. We pick one thing, go all in on it, get it right, then stack the next fix.
