DAY ONE. 🥹❤️
After all the planning, praying, building, pivoting, fundraising, conversations, late nights, and wondering what this day would actually feel like…
Our students showed up today.
And just like that, Live2Create Leadership Academy is officially in session. 🚀
Today was about getting comfortable in our new space, learning each other, beginning to build our rhythms and culture, and helping our founding students understand something really important:
They aren’t just attending Live2Create. They get to help build it.
There will be plenty of time for academics, projects, field experiences, leadership development, and everything else we have planned.
But today?
We started with community.
I’m so grateful for our founding families who took a chance on something new, our Lead Coach who jumped in ready to build, and every person who prayed, gave, volunteered, shared a post, made an introduction, or helped us get these doors open.
We made it to Day 1.
Now the real work—and the real fun—begins. ❤️
We open MONDAY! 🚀
The ribbon is cut. Our Lead Coach is in the building. And now we’re getting ready to welcome our founding students!
But we still need our community. ❤️
Volunteer. Help with supplies. Give to Seed250.
Whatever your part is, do your part. Let’s make sure these kids have what they need to thrive.

WE CUT THE RIBBON. 🥹✂️🎉
I’m still taking it all in.
Yesterday, we celebrated the Grand Opening of Live2Create Leadership Academy, and I’m so grateful for the love, support, and energy that filled the room.
To everyone who showed up, prayed, called, texted, commented, or celebrated from afar—thank you.
This vision once lived in conversations, documents, and a lot of faith. Yesterday, it became real as we stood surrounded by family, friends, board members, partners, volunteers, and our founding families.
We didn’t get here alone.
Grateful to Blueprint 58 for becoming our first home, to the Atlanta Black Chambers for hosting our ribbon cutting, and to KaiPod Learning for 18 months of support that helped bring this vision to life.
Thank you to our team, board, volunteers, donors, partners, and everyone who believed in this from the beginning. And thank you, Becca Stanley for capturing it so beautifully. 📸❤️
One of the most meaningful moments was being prayed over and commissioned for this work—because this isn’t just a building opening, it’s a responsibility.
To serve families well.
To love this community well.
To develop young people well.
To lead with integrity.
And to keep God at the center.
And now, we get to do the work.
Our first day of school is August 31, and we are still welcoming founding middle school families. If you’ve been watching or wondering, now is the time to reach out.
We’re also continuing our Seed250 Campaign to support this founding year and expand scholarships. Our next goal is $30,000 by the end of August.

WE’RE OPENING THE DOORS! 🎉✂️
After more than a year of dreaming, planning, praying, building, fundraising, meeting with families, and saying “we’re launching a school…”
It’s time to cut the ribbon.
Join us for the Grand Opening + Ribbon Cutting of Live2Create Leadership Academy!

📍 Blueprint58 | 931 McDaniel St SW, Atlanta
The Atlanta Black Chambers will join us for our official ribbon cutting, followed by a brief founder’s vision, community remarks, light refreshments, and a special prayer and commissioning over our Academy and founding students.
This moment is bigger than opening a building. It marks the beginning of a new learning community built around faith, leadership, creativity, purpose, and real-world learning.
And we want our community in the room to celebrate with us.

We don’t have everything figured out. And we’re moving anyway.
Building something from the ground up requires planning, strategy, resources, and a whole lot of work.
But for us, it also requires faith.
There are still families to enroll. Resources to raise. Team members to find. Details to finish.
And yet, the assignment hasn’t changed.
So we’re continuing to build, continuing to show up, and continuing to trust God with what we cannot see yet.
Not recklessly.
Not without a plan.
But faithfully.
One family. One gift. One partnership. One yes at a time.
This is Founding Season.

🎬 That’s a wrap on Young Creators Studio!
Today, our students filmed their final scenes and officially moved into the editing phase of their very first short film.
Think about that for a moment…
This wasn’t a script they were handed.
It was imagined by them. Written by them. Directed by them. Filmed by them. And now, it’s being edited by them.
Over the past several weeks, they’ve learned that storytelling is more than cameras and technology. It’s about creativity, collaboration, problem-solving, perseverance, and having the confidence to bring an idea to life.
We’re incredibly proud of what they’ve accomplished and can’t wait to premiere their finished films.
A special thank you to Mk.hi!😛 for investing his time to coach and encourage our young creators throughout the process. Mentorship makes all the difference, and we’re grateful for leaders who are willing to pour into the next generation.
This may have been the end of Young Creators Studio, but for many of these students, it’s just the beginning of their creative journey.

“What do you want to become?”

One student dreams of becoming a filmmaker. Another shared that creating helps stimulate his brain and challenges him to become a better person.
That’s why we do what we do.
When young people are given the space to create, they’re not just building projects, they’re building confidence, discovering their gifts, and beginning to imagine the future they want to create.
Sometimes the most powerful outcomes aren’t the videos they produce.
They’re the dreams they begin to believe are possible.
