We’re enjoying a fantastic team day in the office. We had a lot of our favorite sports teams also represented! Prizes and a special lunch were also part of the day. The Georgia Bulldogs seemed to have the most fans (!) but 10 other teams also made a showing.

True or False: Tax periods are generally perceived as simple and intuitive across the U.S., typically following either a calendar or fiscal year.
Answer: False. Tax periods can be VERY confusing! Jurisdictions might establish collection dates once, twice, or even four times a year. There are various levels of taxes (county, township, school, etc.), with some collecting county taxes on a calendar basis and school taxes on a fiscal basis.
