Exploring New Pipelines for Concept Creation and Original IP Development
At Lacus Post, we have been actively implementing workflows that combine emerging technologies with traditional artistic practices. This latest piece is a demonstration of that direction, not as a replacement for artists, but as a reinforcement of their role in the creative process.
Our focus is not to generate isolated visuals or disconnected experiments. The real value comes from building narrative-driven, cohesive pieces where every element, image, sound, pacing, and design, works together to support storytelling. Technology allows us to explore faster, but it is artistic direction that ensures continuity, intention, and emotional clarity rather than a collection of unrelated fragments.
This work involved a fully integrated post-production pipeline, including original music creation, compositing, digital matte painting (DMP), editing, and color grading within an ACES-managed workflow. The process mirrors a traditional production environment, maintaining structure and coherence while leveraging new tools to visualize concepts earlier in development.
It also opens opportunities for collaboration across additional disciplines such as voice-over and dubbing, allowing these concept pieces to evolve into fully realized productions.
With this showcase, we continue adapting and shaping new creative directions, both for clients looking to refine technology-generated material into cinematic results, and for the development of new internal IPs that we are preparing to produce.
