Tomorrow is the day! My friend, collaborator, and brother joins me in ministry as he installed as an associate pastor on pastoral staff.

We are so happy to have him, his amazing wife and his beautiful girls! This is going to be 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

We are the black Church and as a faith leader and pastor of I’m glad to say we just gave $25K to the National Museum of African-American History and Culture to protect our history!

Black church, don’t let them change history or we will be doomed to relive it!

Today I’m 50!

I woke up this morning realizing that 50 years ago today I came into this world predestined to win!

I began this day on my porch breathing deeply and praying audibly to my Creator.

I am blessed with this most amazing wife, . I’m am so proud to have such incredible kids in and .of.da.cloth

I have an incredible family and spiritual family who walks this journey with me.

I’m ready for the next season and it promises to be better than the first!

Surprised by my wife with a pre-birthday dinner in DC with my longtime mentor and hero, Minister Vanderhorst.

This man showed me at the age of 15 that you can love Jesus and be unapologetically black with a dedication to black liberation.

As I approach 50 years, I realize I wouldn’t be who I am without him and his amazing wife Auntie Janice.

Today is our son’s 21st birthday! He is compassionate, kind, loving, intelligent and creative.

His not a child anymore but he will always be my boy. He is not just a young adult man, but he my favorite man in the whole world.

My Babygirl as the newest Film School graduate! Aja graduates this week from City College with her MFA. The village is moving to NYC for the week to celebrate!

It’s her birthday! So grateful to be in NYC to be with on her 24th birthday. She is an amazing, compassionate, intelligent, and beautiful young lady who is also graduating next week. Please wish my babygirl a happy birthday!
