Last Day of School
The last day of school is Wednesday, May 22!

DeKalb County Schools are launching an exciting new elementary athletics program for the 2024-2025 academic year for 4th and 5th graders. They will be offering Track and Field, Soccer, Competitive Dance, Basketball, and Flag Football. Registration for fall sports is open now through June 30th. DeKalb County School District is requesting student feedback on our current technology devices and looking for ways to improve. Please note that this survey is to be completed by students in Grades 3-5. Parent surveys were sent out separately by the district to the email address on file in Infinite Campus. We had a wonderful PreK 3, PreK 4, and Kindergarten Round-Up Friday at Smoke Rise Elementary! We are so excited to welcome our youngest Jaguar cubs to our pack for next year!

A super big Jaguar THANKS to all the students, parents, PTO, families and friends that helped us celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week! Also a huge Thank You to Mountain West Church for the Starbucks gift cards for our staff! Our teachers are feeling the love!

We had a fantastic Muffins for Mom today! It was such a pleasure seeing all the Moms, Dads, Aunties, Grandparents, and special people show up for a delicious treat with our students.

Field Day 2024 is in the books! It was filled with friendly competitions and great fun! Thank you to all the hardworking volunteers who made it possible and families who came out to cheer on their Jaguar! A huge shoutout to Coach Scott for organizing an incredibly exciting and memorable Field Day! Check out some of the moments that made this day unforgettable!

Thanks to the generous donations from the PTO Scholastic Book Fair, the school, and grants, the media center hosted a "Free Book" Fair during School Library Month where students selected a book of their choice for their home library. We hope this opportunity will foster and develop life-long readers!
