Last night was an unforgettable evening at the Makush Ethiopian Art Symposium.
Makush Gallery

I was truly honored to be one of the panelists, moderated by the Frank Ski of V-103, where I had the opportunity to share my artistic journey and the inspiration behind my work. Having meaningful conversations about art, healing, and creativity alongside fellow artists was an experience I’ll always cherish.

It was also an honor to have two of my paintings included among nearly 200 original works by Ethiopian artists, celebrating the incredible depth, beauty, and diversity of Ethiopian art.

Thank you to everyone who came out, supported the artists, and made the evening so memorable. Your encouragement means the world to us.

If you missed the opening, there’s still time to experience this remarkable exhibition. The show continues throughout the week, with the closing reception this Saturday at 5:00 PM Gallery Anderson Smith

I hope you’ll stop by, explore the artwork, and support the talented Ethiopian artists whose stories are on these walls. 🇪🇹

A special thank you to Mr. Jason A. Halliburton
Who coordinated and pulled all this together!🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

Some opportunities do more than give you a place to show your work they remind you why you create in the first place.❤️

Being part of Artful ATL has been one of those experiences for me. It wasn’t just about exhibiting my art; it was about being surrounded by a community that genuinely believes in artists and creates space for us to grow.

A special thank you to Esohe and George. Your encouragement, generosity, and belief in my work have meant more than you know. You’ve challenged me to think bigger, trust my voice, and continue evolving as an artist. Because of your support and the community you’ve built, doors have opened that I never imagined including connections that are shaping the next chapter of my journey.

Thank you for creating opportunities that uplift artists, celebrate creativity, and bring people together. I am incredibly grateful to have been part of ArtfulATL, and I’m excited to see how it continues to impact so many artists, just as it has impacted me.
