A simpler life..........
My husband and I had a dream of a simpler life. A life in which we were self reliant. A life in which we knew the food we ate was from happy healthy animals and plants. Well, that’s when it got really complicated! Lol! Life never goes as planned! Well life for us definitely has not anyway! We did buy our little homestead in 2017 and we have been working hard on becoming more self reliant while working at our 9-5 jobs and raising 5 kids (yes, 5 KIDS). It has been an amazing adventure full of ups and downs (yes, I have cried in my chicken coop before!). I wanted a way to share what we have learned along the way. So, I created this page to share the victories and the challenges of a homestead in progress. I hope you enjoy!
