Go ahead, start a band with your friends even if you’re 40. It’ll be worth it.

Incredibly grateful to everyone who bought a ticket to see us at Eddie’s Friday, and to the guys that put in the work to make the songs shine. You boys are the MVPs.

We’re just getting started 🤘

My first full band all original show in years is this Friday at Eddie’s Attic. The boys and I are pulling double duty opening and then backing Hannah Murphy as she doles out Americana/Witchy goodness. Get your tickets now 🤘

I don’t know anything about marketing. I don’t want to write a gear list or talk about my credits. I figured the best and most honest way to show you what we do at West End Sound was this video. Everything you see in it is available to you. Like the drums? You can play them. Like the video? You can get that too. Like what the guitarist is playing? Hire him. Any part of your time here can be put together how you’d like it. A couple days of work should get you several months of content and a finished product that lives on your streaming profile forever.

Having a conversation and coming to see the space is easy. If you like what you see and hear, let’s get together and get to work.

Hey guys, it’s been awhile.

I’m happy to announce that I’ve taken over as Chief Engineer at West End Sound. I can’t wait to share some of the things I’ve been working on. To those of you I’ve worked with before, I’d love to see you soon. You know how seriously I take your songs. To everyone else this is the most important time we as artists can lean into creating all original art and music. There will never be a shortage of people clamoring to hear things that mean something, things we get in a room together and make. My overall goal for WES in 2026 is to break down the barriers between your ideas and your listeners ears.

Secondly for a sneak peek at my new record releasing this summer come check the band and I opening for Hannah Murphy at Eddie’s Attic April 10th. It’s gonna be a bunch of familiar faces and an abundance of Americana greatness.

🤘

The greatest part of being on stage at yesterday was this amazing group of folks I got to share it with. It took a mountain of effort to put this band on stage and everyone gave more than their fair share of effort and did it with a smile.

Lucky doesn’t even being to cover it.

Love y’all.

Among our studio musicians who played on Brent Cobb's latest release, "Southern Star," is Miles Landrum, who played bass on the record.

A talented bassist and guitarist, Miles has been playing music for as long as he can remember — from banging on his grandmother's piano to when he first picked up a guitar at age 12.

When he's not playing music, Miles is in the studio engineering or editing. He's worked on projects with Blackberry Smoke, Luke Grimes, Mastodon and many talented regional and local artists. From the staff to the gear, there's a lot to love about Capricorn, Miles said.

"Above all though, a studio has to have a vibe, and you can feel that as soon as you step in to the live room," he said. "Of course, there is an incredible history at Capricorn, but the space had to work at the start to begin building that history."
