Jay McCoy, Supervisor of Ophthalmic Operations, is not only supervising and providing care in the clinics at Midtown, St. Joes, and Johns Creek. As a Reservist in the US Air Force, Jay recently returned from a two-week military leave which provided no cost ophthalmology, dental, medical, and veterinary services to low-income communities in Middle Georgia. When reflecting on his experience, Jay shared, "We were extremely busy each and every day, servicing over 80,000 residents in total, but the patients were the best and so grateful." Thank you, Jay, for your service to our country and our communities!

Emory Eye Center post-doctoral researcher Teele Palumaa has received a highly competitive Marie Curie Fellowship to pursue research on the connection between circadian rhythms and myopia. Find out more about this exciting project.
