Happy National Trails Day ya'll we have some big news !!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

MTB Atlanta and North Georgia Mountain Bike Association Announce Merger to Strengthen Mountain Biking Across Georgia.

The North Georgia Mountain Bike Association will be the unified organization serving riders, trails, and communities throughout North Georgia and Metro Atlanta.

This merger brings together two highly successful Southern Off-Road Bicycle Association trail advocacy organizations with a shared commitment to trail stewardship, rider development, community engagement, and expanding access to world-class mountain biking opportunities throughout Northern Georgia.

“This merger represents an opportunity to unite our strengths and create a stronger future for mountain biking in Georgia,” said Executive Director Brett Davidson. “Together, we can better support our trails, our volunteers, our partners, our donors and the growing number of people who enjoy mountain biking and outdoor recreation across Metro Atlanta and North Georgia."

Take a Kid Mountain Biking next Saturday at Mount Tabor Park! This FREE event is from children ages 3 to 16. Show up at the Mount Tabor bike trails to learn more about riding and bike safety! You will need your own bike/tricycle, helmet, and we recommend bringing something to drink.

The event starts at 10:00am and ends at 12:00pm. You can register online or show up! We look forward to seeing you there, Paulding County, Georgia!

Join us for a Mt. Tabor Trail Day this Saturday May 30th from 9-12 as we tune up the trails for our Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day with Paulding County on Saturday June 6th.

Please wear long pants, closed toed shoes, bring gloves, water, snacks and a pack.

We’ll have lunch for you and cold drinks after!

Meet at the Mountain bike parking lot at 1550 E Paulding Dr, Dallas, GA 30157. See you there!

Join us for a Bull Mountain Work Day to celebrate National Trails Day on Saturday June 6th from 10-2.

We will meet at Nimblewill Church Parking lot at 2328 Nimblewill Church Road, Dahlonega, GA 30533 at 10 AM to carpool and shuttle up to the Bull Mountain Parking lot.

We will hike in and work on the Whoop Di Dos on the Bull Moutnain Trail.

Be prepared to hike 2 miles and do excavation and corridor work.

Please bring a HELMET, wear long pants, closed toed shoes sturday enough for work and hiking, bring gloves, a pack, water and snacks and your epi pen if you are allergic to bees.

We will bring the tools and will cook you lunch and have a cold drink for you after.
