Led by President and CEO Terri M. Lee, The Housing Authority of the City of Atlanta, Georgia (AH), is the largest housing authority in Georgia and one of the largest in the nation. AH provides and facilitates affordable housing resources for nearly 27,000 low-income households comprised of approximately 45,000 people, including AH-owned residential communities, tenant-based vouchers, supportive housing, and homeownership opportunities. Programs are funded and regulated by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

Our team laced up and showed up for the Kaiser Permanente 5K run/walk!
Atlanta Housing employees came together for an evening of movement, wellness and team spirit. We love seeing our team connect outside of the office while making health and wellness a priority.

We took our residents on a tour of 12 homes, giving them the opportunity to see what homeownership could look like for them in real life, not just as a goal, but as something within reach.

And while Phase I continues to move closer to completion, preparation is already underway for the next chapter. Nearby, land has been cleared and readied for Phase II, laying the groundwork for continued investment and growth at Bowen Homes.

The Atlanta Housing team recently visited the National Public Housing Museum in Chicago, a powerful space dedicated to preserving the stories, history and legacy of public housing residents across the country.
