The Bucket Checklist

Our last stop before heading home. What started as a ropes course ended as a nature walk. But it was beautiful. If we had the time we would have kept going past the falls but we were starting to run short on time.

The last day of the Whitney Weekend experience with MyRacehorse. We got to see behind the scenes of sale prep. This was so cool and a lot of fun.

For breakfast on Whitney day I took mom back to Sweet Mimi’s. She got the omelette and I got the Peach Cobbler pancakes, which sound a lot sweeter than they were.

The Thirsty Owl was such a good dinner spot. We went early for dinner. Service was fast and friendly and we couldn’t get enough of the food.

Part of our Whitney Weekend experience with My Racehorse included getting to meet some breeding stallions and learn about how thoroughbred breeding works.

Getting into the main event of my New York trip, Whitney Weekend. We started off by attending training at the Oklahoma track to watch the horses and pick up our passes for the next day.

Druthers Brewing. The chips were amazing and so was the Mac n’ cheese flight. The Cuban was spicy and all together more than either mom or I could eat.

Taking a red eye home I landed in Detroit early this morning. So it’s a double coffee kind of day. I wanted Chick-fil-a for breakfast but iykyk.
