What Does an Office Manager Actually Do?! 🤔🏢
A great office manager can completely change the flow, organization, and efficiency of a business.
In smaller companies, they often wear multiple hats:
• Scheduling
• Team coordination
• Office operations
• Vendor communication
• Administrative oversight
• Keeping the day-to-day moving smoothly
As a business grows, the role usually grows too.
An office manager often becomes the operational backbone of the company — helping leadership stay focused on growth instead of constantly putting out fires. 🔥
In many businesses, this role evolves into operations management, people management, process oversight, and accountability.
A strong office manager doesn’t just “help around the office.”
They create structure, consistency, communication, and operational stability.
And the better your operations are, the easier it becomes to scale successfully. 🚀
Your network can shape your future more than your résumé ever will. 🤝📈
The best opportunities I’ve had did not come from cold applications or perfect timing.
They came from relationships. 🔑
People who knew my work.
People who trusted my character.
People who remembered what I was building because I was willing to share it. 💡
Networking is not just asking for favors.
It is staying curious. 👀
Supporting other people. 🙌
Showing up consistently. 🔄
Sharing your goals before they are fully polished. 🚀
Being generous before you need anything. 🤍
The right relationships can open doors you did not even know existed. 🚪
Build the network before you need the opportunity. 🌱

Happy Mother’s Day 2026 🌼
Motherhood has been one of the greatest gifts, challenges, and growth experiences of my life.
Being a mom has stretched me, humbled me, softened me, and strengthened me all at the same time. My children have been the reason behind so much of my drive, my resilience, and my evolution over the years.
To all the mothers out there, especially the women balancing leadership, business, caregiving, growth, exhaustion, sacrifice, and love all at once, I see you.
There is no perfect way to do this. But the love, presence, and example you provide matter more than you know.
Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible moms. 🌿🤍
Now let’s go see the The Savannah Bananas 🍌 ⚾️
Most business owners want to blame competitors, the economy, marketing costs, AI, referral sources, or “market saturation” for why they aren’t growing.
But the truth?
A lot of businesses are failing because they are simply poorly run.
And here’s the good news most people miss:
The average business in America is not run very well.
That means if you become a genuinely well-run business, you already have a massive advantage.
You don’t need to be the smartest.
You don’t need the biggest marketing budget.
You don’t need a revolutionary idea.
You just need to execute better than the average business owner.
Because most businesses:
• Don’t answer the phone consistently
• Don’t follow up fast enough
• Don’t train their teams
• Don’t track their numbers
• Don’t hold people accountable
• Don’t have operational systems
• Don’t review KPIs consistently
• Don’t lead proactively
I’ve watched companies spend enormous amounts on marketing while revenue leaks everywhere internally.
You don’t have a competitor problem.
You have an ex*****on problem.
The businesses that win long term are usually not the flashiest.
They’re the most disciplined.
The most operationally sound.
The most consistent.
A well-run business is still rare.
And that’s exactly why it’s such a competitive advantage.

Honored to attend and speak at the WilbyBetty Women in Leadership event in Atlanta yesterday. 💕
I spoke on discipline over emotion, making hard leadership decisions, and building businesses that create long-term growth and stability.
So grateful for the amazing conversations and connections with so many driven women leaders and entrepreneurs. Atlanta has an incredible community of women doing big things. ✨
How Rest Becomes Your Competitive Advantage 🌿⏰
The highest performers are not “on” 24/7. They understand that rest, recovery, sleep, fitness, and reflection directly impact decision-making, leadership, creativity, and performance.
Burnout is not a badge of honor. Exhausted people make emotional decisions, lose perspective, and operate reactively instead of strategically.
The best leaders intentionally schedule:• Sleep• Fitness• Time off-grid• Deep thinking• Reflection with their team• Space to reset mentally
If you don’t calendar rest, it usually won’t happen.
Rest is not weakness. For many leaders, it’s a competitive advantage.

Excited to speak at the WilByBetty® Business Summit 2026 this Friday in Atlanta. 🎤✨
I’ll be speaking on:
“Discipline Over Emotion: Making Hard Decisions That Protect Growth”
Growth in business often requires uncomfortable decisions:
✔️ Restructuring teams
✔️ Reallocating resources
✔️ Protecting culture
✔️ Making decisions based on long-term sustainability instead of short-term emotion
Leadership isn’t avoiding hard conversations, it’s developing the discipline to make decisions that protect the future of the business.
Looking forward to connecting with other entrepreneurs and leaders. 🔥

Are Your Reports Making Decision-Making Easier or Harder? 📊🎯
One of my favorite “Jennisms” is this: Silver Platter Reports
Your reports should tell you one of two things:
✅ Everything is okay
🚨 Or there’s a red alert that needs attention
As the owner or leader, you should not have to dig through systems, chase reports, or generate your own data just to know what is happening in the business.
Your team should be delivering key reports to you proactively: daily, weekly, monthly, or on a set schedule.
Data reporting does not need to be complicated. The best reports are foolproof, simple, and easy to act on.
When information is pushed to leadership, decisions happen faster. When leaders have to search for the data, important issues are often missed or delayed.
Better reporting creates better leadership.
✅ Proactive delivery beats reactive searching
✅ Simple dashboards beat complicated spreadsheets
✅ Clear red flags beat vague data dumps
Every business is different, but understanding your options matters.
