Fun Fact: I also share plates with my friends. Keeps cost low and we get to sample a little of everything.

So I did a thing... 👙

I put my speedo on and made my way over to my apartment pool feeling myself. After working out for the past couple of years I unknowingly developed body dysmorphia. How? Me? 😳

I became self-conscious about showing my stomach, wearing a speedo, and even the back of my thighs. Here's another confession I have blemished on the back of my thighs from shaving (Nair to be exact). Best believe one day I'll be doing laser hair removal, but for now, I'm just gonna enjoy right where I am.

We all have our insecurities just don't allow them to hold you back. We only have one life make sure you LIVE it.

First, let’s debunk the myth that those of us with oily skin can’t use oil on our faces. In the words of “THE LIES, THE LIES, THE LIES.” We absolutely can!

In the past, I’ve done oil cleansing and moisturized with oil… and guess what? I’ve had no crazy breakouts to follow.

Especially, now using The Haitian Moringa Oil (aka life in a bottle 🙌🏾) I have no worries. I can workout, run errands, and moisturize stress free.

Plus on a few occasions I’ve been complimented on the “glow” this line leaves me with!

I got a secret to share...

Three months from today marks 1 year since I decided to leave corporate America and give entrepreneurship another shot.

Has it been easy? Nope.
Have all my dreams come true? Nope.
Has it been worth it? HELL, YES!!! 🙌🏾

With that being said, I'm committed to really sharing the story of how I'm doing this. This Thursday I have a special vlog updating you on what I've been doing and what life looks like now.

It's been far too real but I'm humbled to have the experience. Deep down I want to share the process from A-Z of what the "other side" looks like, but I didn’t know “how.” I said F it the other week, got a new camera and here comes the raw form.

When they come for my gangsta at this point I just start showing the receipts (aka Ga Power, Internet, Phone Bill, Car Insurance, Credit Card Bill, Renter’s Insurance... etc.)

An absolutely post-worthy image I sat on because I was waiting on the right moment, right day to share, not too close to a similar image, and boom 2 years go by. Let that seep in.

I used to be so in my head about things and overthinking the When, Why, What, and Where. Needless to say, I can be super type A and stuck on perfection, but since the start of 2021, I'm more committed to consistency than I am to perfection. Asking myself every day... "Is it done?"

Moral to the story... Striving to be perfect has been my biggest downfall, source of my procrastination, and basically too much work. 😩

Don't be like me, be better. Get out your head and legit just do it before 2 years go by and you reminisce.

I can tell you this much. I refuse to sit on work I've done for 2 years again.

Phone Update: I ordered the iPhone 11 Pro Max it'll be here by Friday! Shout out to my 7 Plus for being the GOAT for so long.

I made a conscious decision to put even more effort into my content now that I’m full-time. January was just the start!

Some wins to name... made EPIC strides with Live Civil, made my first Reels (and I’m loving it), gained a new client, and got my podcast back on schedule.

Yes, I've had shortcomings, but those are now on the list for this month to pick up.

Moral to the story... Count your wins first and pat yourself on the back. See the "shortcomings" as opportunities to conquer soon.

Funny thing is last year this time I was planning a redo of my 30th. 😒

Little did I know Rona would come and take over 2020. So let's try this again. This summer (hopeful wishing) when the world opens up again I'm turning 30 again ya! 🙃

Best lesson I've learned since leaving corporate is getting organized!

My friends usually ask me, "How are you so organized?" Then I look at myself like... "You can do better." You know the story... Life of a perfectionist. 🤦🏾‍♂️

What's immensely changed my life is living by my schedule. Yes, friend the free google calendar that comes with your email account is a game-changer. Long story short, USE IT!

I've literally become the (almost) grown-up that forgets if it's not on my calendar.

Who am I again? 🥴
