Atlanta's next big companies aren't just in one neighborhood. They're being built all across the city.
During Atlanta Tech Week, we teamed up with the Russell Innovation Center for Entrepreneurs (RICE) and Tech Square ATL to put local startups and founders front and center. Attendees got to walk the floor, see what these teams are building, and connect with them face to face.

A lot of us think of energy innovation as something happening somewhere else. One session during ATW made a compelling case that it’s happening right here in Georgia.
At Tech Square ATL , Bill Nussey (Partner Square Ventures and Managing Director @ Engage) shared why Atlanta already has what it takes. We have people who know energy, a strong talent pool, more investors paying attention, and big companies ready to try new ideas.
We’re grateful to Bill for a session that left the room energized to keep building Atlanta together.
Ever inherited code and thought "why would anyone do this?" 👀
That's exactly what ADRs (Architectural Decision Records) are for. Instead of just documenting what was built, an ADR captures why what options were on the table, what tradeoffs were made, and why the team landed where they did.
Heard it best at the Atlanta AI expo: "All architectural decisions are essentially the best worst choice" meaning you're picking the best of a handful of imperfect options. Does your team use ADRs?

Some of the best moments from Atlanta Tech Week happened in the rooms full of speakers who have done the work. From building sustainably to knowing when to pivot, our speakers showed up with real talk, not just soundbites. We'll be back next year August 15 - 20, 2027. Save the date.
A lot of us think AI sessions are just watch and learn. The Bob-a-thon at the Atlanta AI Expo, presented by IBM, flipped that. Teams walked in with a real problem, got hands on with IBM Bob, and walked out with an actual roadmap for how to solve it, scale it, and keep it running long term. Our instructor caught us up on what it was all about.
Four years ago we set out to unite the Atlanta tech ecosystem. With so much innovation happening in different pockets of the city, we thought, “what would happen if these different communities collaborated with each other?”
After that, we’ve seen so much growth and connections form, it was incredible.
Atlanta is for builders. Save the date, we’ll be back August 15-20, 2027.
The Startup Showcase in collaboration with Google for Startups brought 40 of the United States’ top startups to one place. Founders pitched, judges deliberated, and six walked away with golden tickets.
