On Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, we acknowledge the lasting legacy of a pioneering leader who strived for a society founded on justice and equality. Dr. King's pivotal role in civil rights continues to inspire us to promote unity, justice, and compassion throughout the nation.
As we move forward in 2026, let us continue to honor his memory by continuing to commit to the DREAM KING dreamed!

As an interesting historical note, Labor Day was initially commemorated in 1882 in New York City to recognize the accomplishments of American workers.
We wish you and your families a safe and enjoyable holiday and safe travels.
Warmest Regards,

Water BOYz in the DeKalb County~
Instead of just passing by, I took a moment to make a donation and share some basic housekeeping rules about their presentation and location. I was grateful that they listened and were open to mentorship. Small guidance can make a big difference!

Yesterday, I had the honor to be with our new CEO Elect for the DeKalb County, who was one of the guest speaker at an inspiring Girls Inc. event at Columbia High School. It was incredible to see Lorraine Cochran Johnson empower our next future generation of young women to lead and succeed.
As the CEO and founder of Helping Hands Helping Others, that shares a similar mission to Girls Inc., witnessing Comcast partner with them to donate computers to qualified youth, in District 3 of DeKalb County an area I grew up was truly inspired. It reminded me of the importance of collaboration, and the incredible impact such resources can have on our young women and men.
This experience continue to motivate me to seek out partnerships and resources to grow our organization, so we can continue to make a difference and in the lives of the youth we serve.
Together, we can create brighter futures.
