DAVIS Learning Academy

🎨 𝗔𝗿𝘁 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗙𝘂𝗻!!! 🎨

Art Club is continuing with a bang learning more about artwork from Late Antiquity into early Medieval Era. Homeschool Scholars continuing to review artwork from the 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗮 𝗚𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗹𝘀 with a painting of the 𝙀𝙫𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙩 𝙅𝙤𝙝𝙣 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙠 from the 𝘽𝙤𝙤𝙠 𝙤𝙛 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙠.

Scholars had fun recreating Mark while listening to more 5th century liturgical music from 𝙎𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙩 𝙔𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙙.

Art Club started off with a bang learning about artwork from Late Antiquity into early Medieval Era. Homeschool Scholars reviewed artwork from the 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗮 𝗚𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗹𝘀 starting with a painting of the 𝘼𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙩𝙡𝙚 𝙈𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙬 from the 𝘽𝙤𝙤𝙠 𝙤𝙛 𝙈𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙬.

Scholars had fun recreating Matthew while listening to music from 𝙎𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙩 𝙔𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙙, a composer of liturgical music during 5th Century.

🍅 𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗠 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝘅 𝗞𝗲𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗙𝘂𝗻!!! 🍅

Thank you to E M B A R C Community Youth Farm again for 𝗙𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽! DLA Families braved the heat and had a fantastic time learning about and planting 𝗙𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝗽𝘀 including:

It's been a long long road. It has not been easy. Your history is complex, and at times deleterious. Your very formation encountered several duplicitous moments throughout modernity. As imperfect as You are, we love You. We celebrate our God-given freedom on this land all year long including from the 19th of June, through the 4th of July.

We are thankful for our DLA Founder, in his service to You. We are also thankful for the freedoms to Home Educate in this Country. We the people are thankful for all who work to make this Country a more perfect union.

May God Bless You and ultimately use You for His Glory!
