Charaxes tiridates are my favorites to work with. I love their coloring and their sturdiness. They pair nicely with blue or purple stones. Pictured here with a cluster of Celestite.

Scorpion! Working with these little guys has been tricky. They take some getting used to. I still like the outcome.

Hello from upstate South Carolina! We are safe! Unfortunately we still do not have power but we are alive and uninjured. We do have trees down, 2 of those missed our house by a foot. There are snapped power poles, downed electrical lines, and trees across the roads in our subdivision. Slowly neighbors have been working together to clear the roads.

We do have a generator on our fridge to keep my insulin and our food good.

I was terrified out of my mind during the storm. Ive never been in a storm like that. Ive lived thru 3 tornadoes but not a hurricane. It seemed to have went on forever. I am happy we made it through and are safe. I hope everyone out there is ok.

My heart hurts for our sister state to the north. Pray and send good mojo to North Carolina. They are an hour and 20 minutes away from us. It is heartbreaking. Stay safe everyone 💜

We are in western South Carolina and per the local news we will be affected in a negative way. I've already declared I'm sleeping in the basement guest bedroom. I'm terrified of these 130+ feet high pines surrounding our house. My poor chickens are going to turn into ducks soon its already rained so much. We are predicted to get 10 to 15 inches of rain and high wind gusts. I am worried for my friends in the direct path of Helene and I pray for yours and your animals safety. Blessed be 🥰
