Netflix turned Morehouse into Hillman for the night, and I got to be there for the “A Different World” red carpet premiere.
Seeing the original cast and the new class share the same space made the whole night feel full circle. Hillman is back, and a new generation gets to make it their own.
I’ll be outside for more of Atlanta’s biggest entertainment moments. Follow Access ATL and come with me.

REPRESENTING FOR THE HBCUs 🥁
Now is your chance to get up close and personal with HBCU bands at the “Battle of the Bands” exhibit. Featuring 44 large-scale fabric paintings by New Orleans artist Keith Duncan, the exhibit celebrates the artistry, tradition and cultural impact of HBCU marching bands. The collection spotlights 15 HBCU bands, including Howard University’s Showtime Marching Band, Florida A&M’s Marching 100 and Southern University’s Human Jukebox, and others.
“HBCU stories are not just Black history but American history. And the culture … it’s a community, the marching band culture. It’s a whole family,” said Keith.
