Ethereal and cool, this painting is titled “The Moon Saw Everything”. 🌝 It’s a 48x36” horizontal with a neutral vibe. In reality, there are quite a few blues mixed in with the whites, grays, blacks and touches of warm browns. This painting has a nice energy and sense of movement to it, due to the active brushstrokes.

Blues, greens and whites bring a calm, refreshing color palette; while high energy brushstrokes create movement and action. These elements combined give this painting a flowing, watery vibe.

I hadn’t even had a chance to post this one yet and the amazing Huff Harrington sold it! 😂💛 This 48x48” is called “Sundial” and I’m super excited it got snatched up immediately after I dropped it off a few weeks ago. Loooove. 🥰 Thankful to the collector, designer and Huff Harrington as always! 🥂

Texture is created here with layers of paint, lots of scraping, mixed media marks (via charcoal, pencil, oil stick) — and — gold leaf pieces, roughed up to look antiqued, gritty and interesting.

I often try to imagine where my paintings might end up, what kind of home they would look great in, and even what kind of collector might spark with them.

I love painting blues and whites, and softer coastal colors, so not surprisingly I imagine fabulous beach houses a lot in my minds eye! 😝😎🏝️
