The United Women in Faith of Hoosier Memorial UMC celebrated Women’s History Month today with the viewing of the Xernona Clayton Documentary, “Xernona Clayton: A Life in Black and White”. After the viewing Ms. Clayton made a surprise appearance, to the delight of all in attendance. Attendees were also able to pick up some free jewelry, donated by Ms. Clayton.

Had a great time at Hoosier’s Trinkets, Treats and Treasures Pop-up Sale today. Thanks to my first customer, Sherrie Wilson. Thanks, also to my niece, Jean Hamblin, who was a GREAT sales lady. I wouldn’t have made it without you!
Join us today (7/16) at Hoosier Memorial UMC, 2545 Benjamin E. Mays Drive SW, Atlanta for our annual picnic on the grounds. This is the culmination of our 40th Church Anniversary celebration. There will be free food and beverages (or you can bring your own), games, comedians, music and more.
Join us at Hoosier Memorial UMC on Sunday, July 10, 2022, as we celebrate our 40th Church Anniversary. The worship service will include an inspirational play, That Preaching Harry Hoosier: “God’s Circuit Rider of Faith”. The play was written, produced and directed by Dr. Sharon J. Willis and will feature several Hoosier members. This year’s theme is “Thankful for the Past, Rejoicing in the Present, and Preparing for the Future”, Psalm 100:4-5.
