God has the final word on the eternal bottom line results. He determines if all our striving can make a difference that lasts. We cannot do it on our own.

Encourage a Christian coworker if you have one. Encourage and help your non-Christian coworkers. Do your tasks well and honestly. Our daily tasks can be bricks that God takes and uses to build his Kingdom.

Don't be fooled into thinking God can't use you as you go about your daily tasks. God is as much at work in the cubicles as He is in the sanctuary.

Christ tells us to be faithful in the small things and the large; and to do that effectively, we need his presence right with us. Let God be the real center of everything you do at work.

Have you met the resurrected Christ yet? Have you let Him come to you amid your workday? Have you let Him resurrect your job?

As you work today, make sure that you are plugged in. Begin with a prayer. Open your heart to God and ask for the Holy Spirit to fill you and empower you. It’s critical to be connected to God, the ultimate power source.

Because of God's power (the Holy Spirit inside of you), you are promised in the Bible that you do not need to rely on your own batteries. On Mondays you can rely on God. You are powered by God for Monday and every workday!

Let our faith today not be governed by a desire to control institutions but a desire to honor God and a desire to lead coworkers we care about from the terrible fate that awaits them in an eternity separated from Him.
