Lucile is a beautiful 5-month-old Great Pyrenees puppy weighing about 35 pounds. She is a sweet, playful girl who loves spending time outdoors, running around the yard, and showing off her adorable zoomies. She also loves toys and enjoys playing with her canine friends.

Lucile is crate trained, housebroken, sleeps through the night, and is highly food and treat motivated, which makes training fun and rewarding. She is currently working on her leash-walking skills and continues to make great progress.

While Lucile can be a little shy when meeting new people, she warms up with patience and kindness. Once she feels comfortable, her fun-loving and affectionate personality shines through.

Lucile gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would do best in a home with another playful canine companion to help her continue building confidence - this is REQUIRED. A securely fenced yard is also REQUIRED, as she loves having space to run, play, and explore safely.

If you’re looking for a gentle, happy puppy who enjoys both playtime and companionship, Lucile may be the perfect addition to your family!

To adopt her, please apply on www.orphanannierescue.org

Ok, where are our poodle people?!?! Boy oh boy do we have a surprise for you!!

Our boy Mavvy is the quintessential Spoo! Just under 3 yrs old and in the 60-65 lb range, Mavvy is smart, loving, loyal and just a touch stubborn - exactly the way any self respecting standard poodle should be! He’s crate trained, house trained, and great with other dogs but his heart will always belong to his human, first and foremost. He’s definitely perfected his role as Velcro Dog.

Mavvy is looking for a tried and true Standard Poodle home with at least one other young adult dog to run and play with and a fenced yard. He would also prefer to have his person around as much as possible throughout the day, so a stay at home parent or someone who works from home would be perfect.

Got the Monday Blues?? Have no fear, little Tuck here will chase them right away!!

Little Man Tuck was fending for himself during the torrential rains we received not long ago. Thankfully he was found by a Good Samaritan who scooped him up and got him to safety!

Tuck is about 13 weeks old and only 7 lbs. Since we don’t know anything about his background, it’s impossible to really say how big he might end up but we are guessing in the 20-25 lb range. It truly is anyone’s guess in situations like this though. What we do know, is that this little guy is equal parts s***k and cuddle! He’s looking for an active home with at least one other well balanced adult dog who is mature enough to continue teaching him proper doggy manners but also young enough to keep up with his play and energy level. Someone looking for a true Ride or Die best friend- Tuck is way too adorable and social to wait at home while his humans are out adventuring! He was born to explore and conquer the world, all the while winning the hearts of everyone he meets!

How absolutely adorable is this little guy?!?!

Teeny Tiny Churro was saved from a bad situation by some Good Samaritans and then surrendered to RMG to make sure he finds the best home. Around 4 yrs old but only 5.5 lbs, Churro packs a lot of personality and, more importantly, love into a small package! He’s great with other dogs (and cats!) and would love to find a forever home with another dog friend that’s on the smaller side. Churro does prefer to take things a bit slower when meeting new people - no worries within a couple hours he will be your best friend! But because of that and his extra small size, he is looking for an adult only home.

A little over a year ago, in May of 2025, we were in a metro area animal control to pick up a few dogs. We saw this terrified dog cowering in the back of her kennel - super thin and covered in ticks and fleas. There’s no way we could leave her behind …. But we had no idea she was so shut down.

Bix is about 4 years old and great with other dogs! Thanks to lots of patience and TLC from her foster family, she’s also learned that people make pretty cool friends too. Not only that but she has also learned that BALL IS LIFE! Bix love love loves to play ball! She’s looking for a patient adopter who will give her time to settle in - she still gets a bit nervous in new surroundings- along with another confident dog and fenced yard.

Interested in becoming one of the most important parts of Bix’s story? Email [email protected] or fill out an adoption application on our website- www.rmgdogs.org

🐶🐶🐶SENIOR SUNDAY🐶🐶🐶

This week’s SENIOR SUNDAY features Lola!

Lola is a 10-11 yr old girl who has had a pretty rough time of it lately. We aren’t entirely sure of her background but we were told she spent some time with an owner who was in and out of jail. After the most recent time her owner was arrested she was brought to a metro area shelter. Thankfully the shelter was able to secure a foster home for her so she wouldn’t have to actually stay in the shelter. But unfortunately, the existing dog in the home wasn’t as accepting and attacked her - Lola didn’t respond but was really torn up. Lola was once again in need of a place to go. Desperately trying to avoid making an old girl like her stay in a crazy, loud shelter, the rescue coordinator reached out to RMG to ask if there was any way we could help. How could we ever say no in a situation like this? We couldn’t!

So now Lola is looking for her dream retirement home. A place where she can live out her golden years surrounded by peace, love, and stability. Lola is great with other dogs but honestly would be just as happy being someone’s One and Only true love - something she’s likely never experienced before!

Understandably, given the chaotic life Lola has had, she does have some anxiety. But unlike most dogs with anxiety, she doesn’t have any destructive tendencies. Her anxiety manifests in the form of panting, pacing, and drooling. So for her own comfort and happiness, she is on a low dose anxiety medication to make sure she’s able to relax and enjoy all of the good things life still has to offer her!
