Second π Chances π Matter π
It is with great pride that we announce RED's very own Board of Directors member, Ladji Ruffin, graduated from Mercer University!
Ladji has been an integral part of the RED team for years and has passionately advocated for second chances for previously incarcerated individuals. Showing that statistics mean nothing when met with compassion, empathy, and education, Ladji graduated from Mercer University after being incarcerated for 23 years. When asked about future plans, this is what Ladji had to say:
"I am passionate about creating programs that support individuals who are navigating the criminal justice system, especially those who also face mental health challenges and substance misuse. I am committed to developing classes and initiatives that help these individuals, as well as creating resources that will better prepare families to feel welcome."
Please join us in congratulating Ladji on this well-earned achievement in the comments!
