Grateful morning!
I’m supporting Regina “the Queen" Fleming — a Seven Star Marathon Finisher who has run races around the world and raised thousands of dollars for meaningful causes.
Her next challenge: ANTARCTICA.
She’s running this continent in support of The Regina Fleming “You Are Enough” Endowment of Alpha Kappa Alpha Educational Advancement Foundation, Inc. (EAF), which provides financial scholarships that help young women pursue higher education, entrepreneurial goals, and athletic desires.
I’m joining her campaign — a way to invest in the dreams and futures of young women.

5 miles.
6:00am.
Saturday.
Nobody clapped.
Nobody posted “🔥🔥🔥” in the comments.
Even my alarm clock looked at me like, “Are we serious right now?”
Here’s the truth:
If you want what others don’t have…
you have to be willing to do what others won’t do.
The body remembers what you repeat.
The mind remembers what you tolerate.
Discipline builds quietly.
Dilution negotiates loudly.
Most people want championship results with convenience habits.
That math has never worked.
So when the couch says, “Rest is productive…”
Ask yourself:
Am I choosing recovery…
or rationalization?
Discipline or dilution?
You decide.

When everything in your business still routes back to you… growth starts feeling heavy.
Most leaders don’t realize they’ve become the bottleneck.
It doesn’t happen because you’re doing something wrong.
It happens because you’re good at what you do.
So the team keeps coming back to you for decisions.
Approval.
Clarification.
Final say.
Before long…
You’re in every meeting.
Every decision touches your desk.
And progress slows — even though everyone is busy.
Here’s the truth:
You’re not overworked.
You’re over-deciding.
Real scaling happens when leaders stop carrying decisions and start designing how decisions happen.
Clear decision rights.
Clear filters.
Clear ex*****on rhythm.
That’s when teams move faster — without burning leaders out.
If this resonates, comment CLARITY or send me a message.
Let’s identify where decision friction might be slowing your growth.
Structure beats strain.
If I disappeared for 72 hours — would your revenue keep moving?
That’s not a dramatic question.
It’s one of the most practical leadership diagnostics I use with founders and senior operators.
From my corporate management years to my work now as a business coach and operator, I’ve seen the same pattern:
Leaders don’t burn out from effort.
They burn out from decision concentration.
Too many decisions routed to one brain — theirs.
Here’s the uncomfortable truth:
If deals stall, approvals freeze, and client issues sit untouched when you step away — you don’t have a workload problem.
You have a decision design problem.
Many high performers quietly believe:
“If I’m accountable for revenue, I must personally approve everything tied to it.”
That belief creates overload — and ironically increases risk.
Revenue accountability is not personal handling.
It’s system reliability.
A simple structure I teach:
Decision Lanes
Lane 1 — Leader Only
Irreversible, strategic, capital-impact decisions.
Lane 2 — Guardrail Decisions
Team decides within written limits (margin, spend, discount, scope).
Lane 3 — Pre-Decided
If you’ve answered it twice — it becomes a rule.
One upgrade question that changes everything:
👉🏽 What decisions should never reach me again?
That’s where real bandwidth recovery happens — without losing performance or revenue control.
Strong leaders are not measured by how many decisions they make.
They’re measured by how much correct motion continues without them.

Let me share something practical.
When pressure rises, most leaders try to think faster.
That’s usually the wrong move.
In my corporate years, I saw the strongest decision-makers do something different — they slowed their state before they chose their action.
Simple reset you can use today:
When the pressure hits:
• take two slow breaths
• lower your voice
• sit back physically
• define the exact decision — not the whole situation
Pressure creates noise.
Clarity comes from structure.
You don’t need less pressure.
You need a better processing sequence.

When leaders show up for the next generation, something powerful happens. At IYMS, we witnessed visionaries from every sector rally together to uplift youth, amplify their voices, and invest in their potential. This wasn’t just a summit—it was a declaration that our future is worth fighting for. Even in the face of storms, unity, purpose, and leadership prevailed. Together, we’re building bridges that will carry young leaders toward greatness in 2027 and beyond.

Dear Christina Howard ,
Thank you for an absolutely dynamic IYMS Youth Leadership Summit this weekend! Your unwavering mission, bold vision, and servant leadership were the driving forces behind this year’s incredible success—despite the unexpected winter storm and pivot to virtual event.
Your grace under pressure and commitment to excellence reminded us all that teamwork truly makes the dream work. Because of your leadership, countless young voices were empowered and inspired.
The best is yet to come in 2027 and beyond—and I’m honored to witness and support the journey ahead!
With gratitude and admiration,

60 Leaders… We Did It. And I Need You to Hear Me.
Today officially concludes our 21-Day Overcoming Limiting Beliefs Challenge…
…but the real journey starts right now.
And I want to say this clearly:
It has been an honor guiding you.
Supporting you.
Watching you fight through resistance, tell the truth, and choose growth anyway.
Because what you did over the last 21 days wasn’t “participation.”
It was leadership.
Most people avoid the mirror.
Most people keep the mask.
Most people keep negotiating with fear and calling it “timing.”
But you showed up.
Even on the days you didn’t feel strong.
Even on the days you were tired.
Even when your mind tried to pull you back into the old pattern.
You stayed in it.
That alone separates you.
Here’s the highlight you should never forget:
You didn’t just identify limiting beliefs…
You proved that your old beliefs don’t get the final vote anymore.
Because every time you wrote the truth instead of the excuse…
every time you chose one courageous step instead of comfort…
every time you stopped mid-spiral and corrected the narrative…
You weren’t “doing homework.”
You were re-training your identity.
That is the work.
And here’s the takeaway that makes this permanent:
The goal was never to have 21 perfect days.
The goal was to build the muscle of self-interruption.
That moment when the old belief rises…
and you recognize it fast enough to say:
“Not today.”
“Not again.”
“Not in this season.”
That’s the real breakthrough.
Because from here on out, life won’t test your intelligence.
It will test your agreement.
So let me leave you with this question:
Now that you can see the belief…
Will you keep letting it lead you?
Or will you start living like the version of you that’s already overdue?
Because you already know what happens when you go back to sleep.
You lose months.
You lose momentum.
You lose self-trust.
But when you stay awake…
even imperfectly…
You win.
My final challenge to you is simple:
Don’t restart. Continue.
Keep one daily practice from this challenge:
1- One truth statement every morning
2- One courageous action before noon
3- One belief rewrite when fear shows up
4- One boundary that protects your peace
Not all of it.
Just one.
Consistency beats intensity.
And leaders don’t wait to feel ready.
Leaders move with clarity while they’re still human.
60 Leaders… I’m proud of you.
Not because you finished a challenge.
But because you proved you’re the type of person who can finish what most people abandon.
And I want you to remember this:
Your future is not waiting on more motivation.
It’s waiting on your decision to stop negotiating with what’s been killing your progress.
This has been an honor.
And I’m grateful to have walked with you.
The challenge may be complete…
…but your leadership is just beginning.

Happy Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day!
During these chaotic, noisy, and uncertain times—I remain on mission.
To deprogram what broke us…
To reprogram what builds us…
…And to remind our people that we are more than our trauma.
There’s greatness coded in our DNA—legacy-level brilliance that can’t be silenced or stolen.
On Friday, I had the honor of visiting the Georgia State Capitol to celebrate the life and leadership of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
A state proclamation was presented by Governor Kemp in his honor. I stood in the beautiful halls with John Hope Bryant and a powerful circle of legislative leaders from across Georgia—leaders who understand that freedom isn’t just a speech, it’s a system we must protect, build, and pass forward.
Today is about remembrance.
But it is also about responsibility.
Let’s be the answer to the prayers Dr. MLK Jr. and our ancestors prayed.
Let’s build better, bigger and bolder.

Grateful morning and Happy New Year!
In my opinion, most people don’t fail because they’re lazy. They fail because they’ve been lied to by their own mind.
🛑 The story that says “I’m always behind.”
🛑 The whisper that says “I’m not enough.”
🛑 The belief that says “I never follow through.”
These aren’t just thoughts.
They’re traps.
And until we SEE them,
we stay stuck.
That’s why Day 1 of our 21-Day Challenge was all about one word: AWARENESS.
Not hype.
Not hustle.
Not fake positivity.
Just pure honesty with yourself.
➡️ Write down 1 limiting belief in each of these 5 areas:
• Health
• Growth
• Finances
• Relationships
• Inner Peace
Then rate how heavy each one feels (1–5).
🎯 What you can name, you can release.
Drop a “🔓” in the comments if you’re facing the truth today.
You’re not broken.
You’re becoming.
It's NOT too late to join the 21-Day Overcome Limiting Beliefs Challenge.

On January 1, 2026, a major shift in U.S. food policy quietly went into effect — but the ripple effects are only just beginning to be felt. In Indiana, Iowa, Nebraska, Utah, and West Virginia, individuals who rely on SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits can no longer use those benefits to buy soda, candy, or other so-called “junk food” items.
Does removing choice improve health, or merely redistribute responsibility?
SNAP Ban On Candy, Soda, And 'Junk Foods' Goes Into Effect Jan. 1 Starting Jan. 1, people who receive SNAP benefits in five states will not be able to purchase soda, candy, or other "junk food" items.

Every Friday at 8a on Breakfast with Champions on the Cluhouse audio platform, I have the honor of co-hosting a one- hour business segment with Scott Simons, Dealer Principal of Simons Chevrolet GMC.
This morning, we discussed a recent podcast interview with Sam, Car Dealership Guy and his transition from corporate leadership into owning and fixing a dealership. It’s framed around the idea of “burn the ships”, a metaphor for committing fully to a business challenge with no turning back.
No fluff. No hype. All truth and major value!
