I’m always learning, refining, and sharing what I know.
In this training I had the honor of teaching Van Michael educators how to better understand, respect, and work with curly + coily patterns.
Because when we know more, we do better; and curls and coils deserve better.

🎨 Energy moves from the ends first.
When coloring curly or coily hair, I start by applying permanent color to the ends where the energy is most open. This ensures an even lift and a balanced tone before moving toward the roots… the source.
Then comes my favorite part which is using a small paddle brush to gently detangle and open up the coils. This isn’t just technique; it’s energy alignment. Every strand gets equal attention, equal saturation, equal love.
Because color isn’t just chemistry it’s vibration.
When you honor the pattern, the hair responds in harmony.
