There is always something new going on at Disney World. Visitors to the park this year should enjoy their new parade. Don't miss it.
The “Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade” will debut at Magic Kingdom Park this Sunday, March 9! The parade will feature nearly 100 performers telling the stories of “Frozen”, “Brave”, “Peter Pan”, “Sleeping Beauty” and other Disney and Pixar films.

Happy Birthday Walt Disney!!!
Walter Elias Disney was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1901. Although widely known for his namesake Walt Disney World Parks / Resorts, he was also a popular American film producer, director, screenwriter, voice actor, animator, entrepreneur, entertainer, and philanthropist. He not only created the lovable character of Mickey Mouse but he was also Mickey's original voice! During his lifetime, Disney was awarded 7 Emmy Awards, 22 Academy Awards (with a total of 59 nominations), and the Cecil B. DeMille Award.
Thank you for all you've done. You have forever changed the entertainment industry.

Happy Birthday to "The Most Magical Place on Earth!"!
42 years ago the Magic Kingdom park of Disney World opened to the public with twenty-three attractions, three unique to the park and twenty replicas of attractions at Disneyland. (Space Mountain was the first ride to debut at Disney World before coming to Disneyland). When the Magic Kingdom opened on October 1, 1971 the price for an adult admission was $3.50. The park has a dedicated staff called "cast members" and has only closed for 5 incidents in its history. Wow!
