We hire off duty APD officers to provide supplemental police presence in our neighborhood.
It's about to be June... and with that a reminder to not leave anything in your cars. Every year at this time we seem to experience an uptick in car theft and break-ins. Whether you lock or do not, do not store anything in your car overnight that you would miss later!

Picked this up from NextDoor this morning...
There is a new scam where the caller claims to be from the FCC and that your info was used to open a (insert your carrier here) account that is being used for explicit images. They then claim that your account will be closed (with the fake one) if you don't file a claim and then offer to connect you to a LE agency.
Just a reminder that NO legitimate law enforcement agency will call you asking for money, a report, personal information, or in reality ever (unless returning your call). If they need to notify you of something, notices are delivered via mail, process server, or a law enforcement officer.
Remember, scammers are out there and can be VERY convincing. If it is real, the authorities will contact you in writing or in person.
