I’m living intentionally with expectancy and I’m choosing obedience over sacrifice. Who’s with me? Drop a 🔥 in the chat if you with me 2026 the year to reinvent yourself if you haven’t already.
Life got so much easier when I stopped trying to impress God with sacrifice… and started honoring Him with obedience.
Because sacrifice can look spiritual on the outside, but still be rooted in control. It’s me saying, “God, look what I’m doing for You,” while secretly doing it my way.
But obedience? Obedience is peace. It’s simple. It’s clear. It’s trusting God even when I don’t understand the whole plan.
And the wild part is—when I chose obedience, I stopped wrestling so much. I stopped striving. I stopped forcing doors open that God never told me to touch.
Now I move when He says move. I pause when He says pause. And life feels lighter… because I’m no longer carrying what obedience was supposed to handle.

Faith over Fear
Fear kills when we let it hang around long enough to take over our life. One thing that is always on my mind is when I get to the end of my life and look back, what will I regret not doing because of fear? What opportunities will I let fear kill? In John 10:10 after Jesus describes the devil’s intentions, he goes on to say, “I have come so that they may have life and have it abundantly.”
Do you want to live an abundant life, full of God’s promises and opportunity or do you want to live a life where fear dictates every step you take? We’re presented with opportunity every single day. I pray that you choose life, push back fear, and trust God to guide every footstep on your path to his calling on your life.
Focus: Today, I want you to take some time to meditate in prayer. Picture yourself at the end of your life and think about what you may regret not doing that you can still do now, and do them.
