Under the direction of Michael Lewis, The Atlanta Wind Project focuses on promoting talent through the realm of wind literature in the Metro-Atlanta area. That’s a wrap!!! This weekend The Atlanta Wind Project held our final rehearsal of the cycle and our recording session for our upcoming concert cycle featuring the riveting Seascape by Ruth Gipps, along with the rarely-performed Respiration Suite by Jurriaan Andriessen, and to top it off, Joachim Raff’s Sinfonietta, a forgotten masterwork. We have been hard at work in rehearsals for our forthcoming cycle and second concert of our season featuring the music of Ruth Gipps (Seascape), Jurriaan Andriessen (Respiration Suite), and Joachim Raff (Sinfonietta). Looking forward to recording and releasing our performance soon!
