The DOJ's 2024 ADA ruling now explicitly mandates WCAG 2.1 AA compliance for state and local government websites and federal agencies have been bound by Section 508 for years. Meanwhile, ADA web accessibility lawsuits crossed 4,600+ filings in 2023 alone, up 42% since 2020.

The message is clear: accessibility is no longer optional.
