A contemporary chamber ensemble in Atlanta featuring local composers: http://www.terminusensemble.org But Terminus does not literally mean "the end."
Terminus Ensemble of Contemporary Music was founded in 2011 to promote new classical music by composers based in Atlanta, Georgia. Our first concert was March 4, 2012 at the Central Library branch of the Atlanta-Fulton County Library. Terminus was the original name of Atlanta - it was the end of the line for the Western & Atlantic Railroad. Rather, it means "boundary." Our ensemble focuses on music made by natives and residents of Atlanta, but we also seek to explore the boundaries of art music.

Hi friends! At this moment, we are still planning on having our SoundNow Festival concert tomorrow (Saturday, Jan. 31st at 7pm, see the event post for details - SoundNOW Festival: smol ensemble & Terminus Ensemble).
BUT! Due to the uncertainty of the winter weather, there is a chance we will have to reschedule. We will make a decision by NOON on Saturday, so check back here for updates. Thank you and hope to see you at the concert!
