Rural Leader Magazine is a premier publication dedicated to highlighting real people who live, work, Rural Leader Magazine was created by Dr. Kuanita E.
Murphy in the fall of 2013. She harnessed the idea from her dissertation, "A Phenomenological Study on Leadership in Rural Communities." The study focused on the lived experiences of leaders in six rural communities in Georgia. Nominations are NOW OPEN across Alabama, Florida, and Georgia

This year’s honorees will be recognized virtually across the region, with a live celebration in Cuthbert on September 15th—in addition to our Annual Rural Leader 40 Under 40 Honors.
