Sweet Jesus! Right now in full bloom is this aromatic beauty, Carolina allspice (Calycanthus floridus). The exact scent is hard to pinpoint and varies by individual. Mine I’ll say mine is a “spicy tropical breeze”. 💥

Written by Jordan E. Cooper, the youngest Black playwright to ever open a show on Broadway, Ain’t No Mo’ is a jaw-dropping rollercoaster of a play that imagines what would happen if America offered every Black person a one-way ticket back to Africa. What follows is a wild mix of sharp satire, hilarious sketches, drag, and unfiltered Black truth. Think In Living Color, Key & Peele, and SNL — but louder, bolder, and unapologetically Black.
