Neighbors at Haven at South Atlanta came together for National Night Out! 🏘️

The annual event brings residents and local first responders together to build relationships, strengthen neighborhood connections, and promote safer communities.

What happens when organizations work together around a shared vision for children and families? 📚

At FCS, we believe strong educational outcomes start long before a child enters a classroom. That's why we're proud to partner with United Way of Greater Atlanta and The Villages at Carver Family YMCA through Learning Spaces, a play-based early learning program designed to support both children and caregivers.

Since launching in November 2025, Learning Spaces has grown from serving 16 children to engaging more than 50 children and nearly 40 adults each month.

Along the way, families have built relationships, children have strengthened early learning skills, and caregivers have found a community of support.

By investing in children and the adults who care for them, we're helping create a stronger foundation for school readiness and lifelong success.

A new school year is underway, and FCS was there to welcome students back to Carver Early College and Carver STEAM Academy! 📚

We joined other community partners, Thomasville Heights neighbors, and Carver Early College alumni on the first day of school to greet students, share a few smiles, and remind them that their community is cheering them on.

There was something especially meaningful about having alumni there, too. These are people who once stood where today’s students are standing, and now they’re coming back to invest in the next generation.

That’s what community looks like: showing up, making connections, and making sure our young people know they’re supported.

Here’s to a great year ahead for every student, family, teacher, and staff member across the Carver Cluster!
