Rob Rooks had a great time hosting his annual trip to Cinco Rios in Chile. Great Weather led to some great fish caught throughout the week.

Fishing the Good Fight is a nonprofit building community and improving men’s mental health through fly fishing, honest conversation, and shared purpose. We host retreats, local events, and men’s groups designed to help men show up more fully for themselves, their families, and their lives. We’re excited to grow our Atlanta community!

Whether you’re a seasoned angler, curious about our mission, or just love pizza and good company, this is the perfect chance to meet the team and learn how you can get involved.

EVENT PARKING

See above for a parking map for the event this weekend. Please seek parking in the red area (our building’s designated parking lots) FIRST before spreading out to other business. Most nearby businesses are friendly and allow our customers to park there, but please pay attention to any posted signs, time limited parking, and tow away zones, and check our parking lot first before spreading out.

Blue line is the building cut through if you want to avoid the chilly walk! Blue star is event space.

We have some great door prize donations from our amazing vendors for the event this Friday and Saturday! All you need to do is show up, sign up for our email list, and grab a raffle ticket! Everyone who attends gets entered for free!

Raffle drawing will take place Saturday at 4pm, and you MUST ANSWER WHEN WE CALL YOU TO WIN! If you don’t pick up, it’s on to the next ticket!

This week! Excited to host our southeastern anglers for The Fish Hawk Fly Show! Don’t let cold temps turn you away, we’ve doubled up on heaters for the show tent to make sure our vendors and guests have a great time checking out new gear and daydreaming of spring! Fish Hawk Fly Show Details!
January 30th 9:30-6pm ; January 31st 9-5pm

Due to the cancellation of the Atlanta Fly Fishing Show, The Fish Hawk is hosting our own fly show to help get Atlanta’s anglers through the winter doldrums! The event will be packed with great brands showcasing new products for 2026, local clubs and non-profits, other local fly shops, fly tiers, and more! The event will take place January 30th-31st at The Fish Hawk (764 Miami Circle, Suite 126, Atlanta, Ga 30324) where we will be shutting down our parking lot and putting up an enclosed, heated tent to host the event. The show will take place from 9:30am-6pm on Friday and 9am-5pm on Saturday. The event will be free to attend, and those that show up will be eligible for door prizes and giveaways from our great vendors!
